Limited edition, no. 3 of 250 copies. This finely produced edition presents Drayton’s Nymphidia, his celebrated mock-epic poem first published in 1627, which playfully depicts the miniature world of fairies and the courtly intrigues of Oberon and Queen Mab.

Printed at the Shakespeare Head Press, one of the foremost private presses of the early twentieth century, this edition reflects the revival of fine printing inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and the ideals of William Morris. The Press, founded by A. H. Bullen in Stratford-upon-Avon, was known for its craftsmanship and devotion to early English literature.
